On the morning of Tuesday, 18 November, city guards in Warsaw’s Mokotów district stopped a group of teenagers from inhaling marijuana at Słoweński Square.

Police officers from the City Guard interrupted an unhealthy inhalation of a trio of young people in Mokotów, Warsaw.
City guards enforce anti‑addiction duties
One of the main tasks of the Guards, as part of school reports, is to counter demoralization and addictions among children and youth.
Incident at Słoweński Square
Near the so‑called Słoweński Square, at the intersection of Kazimierzowska and Wiśniowa streets, officers witnessed three teenagers alternately inhaling from a plastic bottle filled with smoky vapor.
Minors identified, police take control
During verification, it emerged that the three were minors enrolled in nearby schools; they admitted inhaling marijuana smoke from the bottle, with trace amounts left in the discarded glass pipe.
Police were summoned and took over the case.
Teenagers will face counselling on drug harms
The youths are likely to receive a serious lesson about the dangers of such inhalations and the risks associated with drug addiction.
