Civic Coalition May Fail Electoral Threshold, Konfederacja Returns to Sejm

The latest poll shows the Civic Coalition struggling to cross the 5% electoral threshold in the Sejm, while Konfederacja returns to parliament.

Poll Results

The Civic Coalition leads with 34.52% in the latest OGB poll (+1.2 since August), followed by the Law and Justice party with 30.82% (+0.2). Konfederacja placed third with 16.86% (+1.5). If September elections occurred, Konfederacja Korony Polskiej Grzegorza Brauna would also enter the Sejm with 6.48% (+1.1).

Parties Below the Threshold

New Left (4.74%), Your Movement (2.64%), Poland 2050 (2.22%), and PSL (1.72%) all failed to cross the 5% threshold, leaving the Civic Coalition as the only group from the current ruling bloc to enter the Sejm. The survey was conducted from September 2-9 with 1,000 participants via CATI (telephone) method.

2023 Parliamentary Election Results

In the 2023 Sejm elections, 35.38% voted for Law and Justice, 30.7% for the Civic Coalition, with 14.4% supporting the Third Path coalition (Poland 2050 and PSL). Left (8.61%) and Konfederacja (7.16%) also gained seats. Law and Justice secured 194 seats, Civic Coalition 157, Third Path 65, Left 26, and Konfederacja 18.
