In December 2025, a new survey showed Poland’s Civic Platform leading with 30.9% among voters, edging out the ruling PiS party’s 25.5% while opposition parties linger below the electoral threshold.
KO Leads Over PiS
Civic Platform secured 30.9% support, topping the ruling PiS party at 25.5%. Confederation followed at 13.6%, Left at 8.2%, and Confederation of the Polish Crown at 7.1%. Parties below the electoral threshold were PSL with 4%, Together Party with 3.6%, and Poland 2050 with 1.5%. Five point seven percent of respondents could not say whom they would vote for, while 64.4% declared they would participate in the vote.
Preferred Coalitions
Voters were also asked about potential future coalitions. Eighty‑four point four percent opposed a Civic Platform‑Confederation alliance, only 4.2% supported it, and 3.1% were undecided. Sixty‑two point two percent oppose a PiS‑Confederation of the Polish Crown coalition, while 25.7% support it and 7.3% are undecided. A similar pattern emerges for a possible PiS‑Confederation‑Confederation coalition (62.4% opposition, 25.9% support, 6.3% undecided).
Current Governing Coalition Faces 55% Opposition
The governing coalition of Civic Platform, Left, PSL, and Poland 2050 has 55% opposition and 40.6% support, with 1% of respondents having no opinion. Forty‑six point five percent evaluate the PiS‑Confederation alliance negatively, a lower proportion of disfavored support in this survey. Thirty‑six point seven percent view the alliance as a good solution, while 4.8% have no opinion. The survey was conducted by telephone on 4–6 December with a sample of 1,000 respondents.
Tusk’s Civic Platform Tops Another Survey
Opinia24.pl released early‑December results showing Civic Platform leading with 31.7%, PiS at 25.1%, and Confederation at 14.6%. Two parties would also reach the electoral threshold: Left at 6.6% and Confederation of the Polish Crown at 6.2%. Other parties—Together Party at 4.6%, Poland 2050 at 2.8%, and PSL at 1.2%—would not enter the Sejm. One percent would vote for another party, and 6.2% chose “hard to say”. The survey, conducted 1–3 December 2025 using mixed‑mode CATI and CAWI interviews on a representative 1,000‑person adult sample, reported responses from 509 decided voters.
Survey Methodology
The study used a mixed‑mode approach combining telephone (CATI) and internet (CAWI) interviews on a representative sample of 1,000 adult Poles, conducted between 1 and 3 December 2025.
