Civil Service to Add Two New Positions: One Managerial, One Independent

Poland’s civil service will introduce two new positions: a managerial role for internal audit and an independent role for data protection.

Regulatory Changes

These changes appear in a draft amendment to the regulation of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of January 29, 2016, on determining the official positions, required professional qualifications, service grades of civil servants, and multipliers for determining salaries and detailed rules for establishing and paying other benefits due to members of the civil service corps.

New Position Classifications

The new manager position for internal audit cells will be classified as coordinating positions in the civil service. Meanwhile, the data protection inspector will be classified as an independent position.
