On Monday, February 9, at 16:22, a Citroen and Skoda collided on the local lane of route S8 before the exit to Marywilska and Wysockiego streets heading toward Most Grota-Roweckiego, blocking the passage.
Cause of Collision
Initial findings indicate the Citroen driver attempted to change lanes too late, hitting the curb and barriers before bouncing and colliding with the Skoda.
Emergency Response
Firefighters, police, and two medical rescue teams were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters secured the area and halted traffic on the local lane of S8. Medical personnel examined both drivers, neither requiring hospital transport.
Police Action
Police conducted on-site procedures, determined the collision sequence, and issued a fine to the Citroen driver. Both drivers were sober and held valid driving licenses.
