During a meeting of the Legal-Economic Council, a clear signal was sent: the private sector is to play a crucial role in building Poland’s security. Companies are being invited to cooperate on arms production, dual-use technologies, and innovations – from AI to drones.
Billions on the Table, Barriers Remain
Concrete funds are available – billions of zlotys from new funds and support programs. However, entrepreneurs also point to barriers, including complicated procedures, unpredictable public procurement, and difficult access to the defense sector.
Is Poland Ready to Open the Arms Industry to Business?
The question remains whether Poland is prepared for a real opening of the arms industry to business, and whether companies are ready to enter a “war-like” mode.
