Tomasz Sidorczuk bought condoms requesting a KPRM invoice, exposing flaws in Poland’s mandatory KSeF system and now faces charges.
Million-View TiktTok Exposes System Flaw
A video posted by Tomasz Sidorczuk of Bielsko-Biała showing him purchasing condoms and requesting a VAT invoice addressed to the NIP of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (KPRM) rapidly gained traction. The TikTok video highlighted alleged vulnerabilities in the Krajowy System e-Faktur (KSeF), Poland’s mandatory e-invoicing platform set to launch February 1, 2026.
Invoice Delivered Directly to KPRM Accounting
Sidorczuk, known for social activism, aimed to demonstrate risks in the KSeF. Under the system, invoices are sent directly to the recipient’s platform. This meant a document issued to KPRM could appear in the government accounting system, requiring constant verification and rejection of incorrect entries, a burden increasing with document volume.
Charges Filed Against Activist
Media reports indicate Sidorczuk now faces charges of inciting the issuance of an invoice for tax purposes. This offense carries a potential prison sentence of up to three years. He was interviewed on February 26, 2026, at the Silesian Customs and Tax Office in Katowice and denies the allegations, stating the invoice was for 89 groszy of VAT and criticizing state response over system fixes.
