Telus’ TV Republika Interview

Polish minister Robert Telus appeared on TV Republika, criticizing the sale of a key plot for the Central Communication Port (CPK). He described the case as politically motivated and accused opponents of retaliation.

Challenges to the Sale Process

Telus said the sale was conducted procedurally and that he had no prior knowledge of it. He pledged opposition to the sale, stating his support for protecting Polish land, and warned that the deal was aimed at diverting attention from the Mercosur agreement.

Background of the 160‑Hectare Deal

According to reports, the Ministry of Agriculture approved the sale of 160 hectares of land to the Dawtona company’s vice‑president just before the 2023 transition of power. The land, originally owned by the National Agricultural Support Centre, is crucial for the CPK project. It sold for 22.8 million PLN, and the value could rise to up to 400 million PLN.
