On October 27 after 10 p.m. at the intersection of Strażacka Street in Rembertowo – at the exit from the viaduct under Żołnierska Street – two passenger cars collided. No injuries were reported, and the incident was classified as a collision.
Traffic Violation
Preliminary investigations show that the driver of a KIA was traveling along Strażacka from Chełmżyńska toward Żołnierska. At the junction she failed to yield to the driver from the viaduct exit, moving along Strażacka under Żołnierska from Rembertowo side. This caused the collision.
Emergency Response
Fire brigade, medical rescue team and police were dispatched to the scene. After examination, it was confirmed that neither driver required hospitalization. Firefighters secured the area and then removed the damaged vehicles, restoring traffic flow.
Police Action
Police carried out operations at the scene, ruled the incident a collision and imposed a sanction on the offender. Both drivers were sober and had valid licences.
