Czarzasty to President and PiS Politicians: “You Won’t Kill Me”

Czarzasty defiantly tells PiS politicians and president he won’t resign and will expose their dishonesty step by step.

Czarzasty: I Will Not Resign

On Thursday (February 12), Włodzimierz Czarzasty on Polsat News said that the actions of PiS politicians and President Karol Nawrocki towards him all aim for one purpose: to force his resignation. “I will not resign,” he emphasized. The politician said he has a very healthy but very firm and principled attitude to the interest the president’s environment shows in him. “In this regard, I have a very healthy but very firm and principled message. Therefore, I say: don’t spit on me, don’t kill me. I will simply step by step show your dishonesty, your intentions,” Czarzasty said.

Security Questionnaire Controversy

The host also asked the marshal why he did not fill out the security questionnaire. “This is probably the first time it will be presented in your program. Marshal Hołownia, Marshal Witek, and Marshal Kuchciński did not fill out the questionnaire. I don’t know if you know about this. Because we (marshals – ed.) cannot fill out these questionnaires,” replied the MP. Agnieszka Gozdyra pointed out that he also did not fill out the questionnaire when he was on the special services commission. “Over two years, there were three situations when super secret information was passed. Members of this commission have the optional right to fill out this questionnaire,” Czarzasty answered.

Sejm Chancellery: Marshal Not Required to Fill Out Security Questionnaire

The current opposition environment demands that Czarzasty fill out the security questionnaire. “According to regulations, the Marshal of the Sejm does not fill out the security questionnaire,” the Sejm Chancellery emphasized in a communication. “The expectation that the Marshal of the Sejm fills out the questionnaire is a misunderstanding resulting from ignorance or misleading the public. The control to which the Marshal of the Sejm is subjected is constant and stricter than control resulting from any questionnaire procedures,” it was noted.

It was also conveyed that the politician had requested additional counterintelligence verification of his contacts and received information that there are no objections. It was added that the security questionnaires mentioned in the public space are intended for persons with lower access to classified information, and if the Marshal of the Sejm were to request such a form of verification from the ABW, according to regulations, he would be refused. “The second person in the state is controlled through other procedures, continuously, in real time, and informed about any counterintelligence threats. If there were any problem, there would be no positive statement from the services coordinator, and access to classified information would be restricted,” the communication stated.
