At about 11 a.m. on Sunday, October 19, a collision occurred at the Zesłańców Syberyjskich roundabout between an Opel and a Kia. The young Kia driver, heading from Dworca Zachodniego toward Pruszków, entered the intersection on a red light after misreading the signal and struck the side of the Opel, then a traffic pylon and signs. All parties were unharmed.
Emergency call response
When the driver called 112, operators informed them that police might not arrive or could be delayed, and they should prepare a statement. The operator was uninterested in the damaged traffic infrastructure. Following these instructions, the driver wrote a statement and the vehicle was towed; the damage to the infrastructure would be paid by drivers.
