Accident Details
A serious accident occurred on provincial road 957 in Ludźmierz on Sunday, February 8, at around 6:00 PM, according to RMF FM. Two vehicles collided. One car was driven by a man approximately 30 years old, while the other contained a woman and three children aged 2, 6, and 11. All individuals were transported to the hospital.
According to kr24.pl, the youngest passengers were worst affected in the incident. However, their current condition has not been disclosed.
Emergency Response
As medical teams transported the injured to hospitals in Nowy Targ and Zakopane, firefighters secured the damaged vehicles and neutralized leaking fluids that could have caused secondary hazards on the road. They also removed fragments of car bodies and glass.
The accident on Ludźmierz’s main artery caused significant traffic complications that lasted for several hours after the incident. Law enforcement secured the area along John Paul II Street, reports the portal.
Investigation Status
The cause of the accident is currently unknown. Investigators are now analyzing witness statements, vehicle positions, and skid marks.
