The National Sanitary Inspectorate has issued a warning after finding Salmonella bacteria in a batch of “Morwa biała” herbal tea, produced by Herbapol-Lublin, potentially endangering consumer health.
Salmonella Detected in Herbal Tea Batch
A batch of “Morwa biała” herbal tea containing Salmonella spp. has been identified in one of five samples tested by the State Sanitary Inspection. The affected product, a 40g supplement with 20 sachets, is produced by Herbapol-Lublin S.A. located at ul. Diamentowa 25, 20-471 Lublin.
Health Risk Assessment
The National Institute of Public Health (PZH) warns that this specific batch (L 0185 with an expiration date set for May 2027) may pose a health risk to consumers.
Precautionary Measures
The State Sanitary Inspection is currently conducting an investigation in collaboration with the producer. Consumers in possession of this batch should not consume it.
