On Wednesday, Dec 3, students entered a classroom at Technical School No 4 in Malbork and found Mateusz Kulwiński, 33, unconscious. They immediately performed CPR, notified other teachers, and called emergency services.
Police report and investigation
Police received a report about the incident on Monday around 12:00. Early findings indicate that the students, concerned about the teacher’s delay, entered the room. Officials are investigating the cause of death, with no indication of third‑party involvement so far.
School’s farewell and forensic steps
The school expressed grief on social media, describing the teacher as a remarkable colleague and good person. It secured school‑monitoring footage and arranged an autopsy. The investigation will continue after the autopsy on Friday.
