Where the Body Was Found
Officer Frederico Jesus said the body lay about 500 metres from a path along a canal near Boaventura, near the northern coast of Madeira, after difficult access due to the terrain.

The 31‑year‑old was last seen on 2 November after communicating with family, promising to share his location with his sister, before the signal disappeared during a hike from São Vicente toward Pico Ruivo.
