Emergency services received a report of a body drifting in the Vistula River at 11:02 AM. Police and fire brigade units were dispatched to the Wybrzeże Helskie area in Praga-Północ.
Due to low water levels, river police were unable to reach the body directly. Firefighters were called to the scene to recover the woman’s body from the beach area and bring it to the shore.
Identification and Forensics
The body was in a state of significant decomposition, which prevented immediate identification. No identity documents were found with the deceased.
The scene was secured, and police are conducting activities under the supervision of a prosecutor. The body has been transported to a forensic medicine facility.
