Delivery Truck Hits Targowa Viaduct; Driver Under Rescue Care

Driver’s route and height sign violation

The vehicle was traveling from Grochowska Street toward Praga Północ, moving in the left lane. It reportedly ignored height markings, leading to impact with the upper cabin and bodywork.

Immediate response and medical care

Firefighters on scene moved the damaged truck onto the shoulder. Later the driver complained of back pain, prompting a medical rescue team. He was handed over to rescuers; it remains unclear if he was taken to hospital.

Police oversight and recurring hazards

Police conducted subsequent operations at the site. The PKP viaduct on Targowa has been cited as a hazard for inattentive drivers, with several prior incidents reported involving vehicle damage.
