The Radom-East District Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation against 26‑year‑old Szymon W., a Radom resident, on suspicion of drug possession and abuse of his concubine.
Seized Quantity
According to the investigation, on November 13, 2025 Szymon W. stored about 63.76 g of a plant‑based drug in his Radom residence, in violation of the 2005 Anti‑Drug Abuse Act. The amount is deemed “significant” and corresponds to multiple basic doses.
Complaint Filed
The same day, an adult daughter of the woman living with the suspect lodged a complaint about a domestic quarrel started by Szymon W., according to the prosecutor’s press secretary, Aneta Góźdź.
Witness Account
During a cleaning session, Szymon W.’s concubine, questioned as a witness, discovered substances she believed belonged to him and handed them over to police officers at the local station.
Lab Findings
Chemical analysis confirmed the seized weed was non‑fibrous cannabis, commonly known as marijuana. Prosecutor Góźdź reported that Szymon W. admitted to possessing the drug and provided an explanation.
Legal Proceedings
On November 15, 2025, the prosecutor imposed preventative measures: police supervision, removal from the shared premises, and a prohibition on contact with the victim. Szymon W. faces a potential sentence ranging from one to ten years in prison, with ten years the maximum penalty.
