How to Apply for Casual Leave? Deadlines and Necessary Documents
An employee should, as a rule, inform the employer about their planned absence from the company. This applies, for example, to leave related to a planned wedding or funeral. Regulations provide an exception to this rule. If the circumstance justifying the leave occurred suddenly and could not be foreseen, the employee may inform their superior about their absence immediately, but not later than the second day of absence.
Pay for Casual Leave – How to Calculate Salary?
Casual leave is calculated on the same terms as vacation leave. This means that the employee retains the right to receive 100% of the salary for each of these days.
