On Wednesday, February 18, around 22:40, police in Raciąż (Płoński County) responded to a 112 emergency call from a 29-year-old man who confessed to killing two people.
Upon arrival, officers found the man outside a single-family house where he lived with his victims.
Victims Identified
Police discovered the bodies of a 72-year-old woman and an 86-year-old man in the house. The District Prosecutor’s Office in Płock confirmed the victims were the man’s grandparents.
Investigation Underway
The 29-year-old suspect was transported to the Police Headquarters in Płońsk for further questioning. Criminal police, investigation teams, and forensic technicians are working at the scene under prosecutor supervision.
A spokesperson for the District Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the suspect was sober at the time of arrest. The man’s father is currently serving a 25-year prison sentence.
Police emphasize it’s too early to discuss motives or the detailed sequence of events. The suspect has not yet been formally charged.
