Double Murder on Targówek

The tragedy occurred on January 28, 2026, in one of the apartments on Pszczyńska Street in Warsaw’s Targówek district. According to investigators, two people died there. Unofficially, the victims were reportedly the parents of the suspected man. Services intervened at the scene, and the arrest took place after a police raid.

Three Charges

The District Prosecutor’s Office for Warsaw-Praga Północ announced that the detained Radosław J. faced three charges. Two of them relate to the murder of two people, and the third – the killing of three domestic animals that were in the apartment. The suspect did not admit to the alleged acts and refused to give statements.

Court Decision on Arrest

The prosecutor filed a request with the court for the application of temporary arrest. The court granted this request and decided on a three-month detention for the suspect. Investigators argued that there is a risk of tampering with evidence and the risk of committing further similar acts. For the double murder, the man faces a sentence of life imprisonment.

The investigation in the case continues, and the prosecution announces further procedural actions, including expert opinions and further analysis of the collected evidence.
