Dozens of explosives found on Rembertów property following Saturday’s artillery blast

Military police and explosive experts are investigating a Rembertów property that contained dozens of various-sized ammunition, including grenades and artillery shells, following a weekend explosion.

Rembertów Property Uncovered

Polish military police and explosive teams are investigating a property on Zawiszaków Street in Rembertów following the discovery of significant amounts of explosive materials. The materials were found in the home of a man injured in Saturday’s explosion on the firing range.

Risks Emerge

Over thirty of various-sized projectiles were found on the territory, including grenades and artillery components. Pictures taken from above show some projectiles measuring over a dozen centimeters, while one appears to be around half a meter in length.

Emergency Measures

Security concerns prompted the closure of Zawiszaków Street for any traffic, as well as the evacuation of nearby residents. Military police and specialized sapper units are currently on the scene.
