Man Found Unconscious in Feeder
On Monday, January 22, at around 5:00 PM, emergency services responded to an accident report in the village of Piorunów near Łódź. Firefighters discovered an unconscious 67-year-old man whose body was trapped in an ecopellet boiler feeder.
Rescue Attempts Failed
Despite 40 minutes of resuscitation efforts by rescue teams, the man could not be saved. Six fire units and an Air Ambulance Service helicopter responded to the scene.
Incident Classified as Accident
The event has been classified as an unfortunate accident according to media reports. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene despite intensive rescue efforts.
