Driver Airlifted to Hospital After Crash Near Nowe Osiny

A 24-year-old driver was airlifted to a hospital after his Renault collided with a Ford near Nowe Osiny, Poland, around 7:20 AM today.

Renault Driver Loses Control, Collides with Ford

Around 7:20 AM today, a serious traffic incident occurred in Nowe Osiny, involving a Renault and a Ford. The 24-year-old driver of the Renault was transported to the hospital by helicopter from the Air Rescue Service.

Initial findings indicate the 24-year-old driver was traveling from Siedlec towards Mińsk Mazowiecki when he lost control of the vehicle for reasons currently unknown. He then struck a traffic island before colliding with an oncoming Ford.

Ford Driver Unharmed

The driver of the Ford was a 45-year-old man who, according to reports, was sober and possessed the necessary driving permits.

Vehicle Rolls Over, Rescue Operation Launched

Following the collision, the Renault left the road, entered a roadside ditch, and overturned. The 24-year-old driver of the Renault sustained the most serious injuries and was airlifted to the hospital.

Road Blocked, Traffic Disrupted

Emergency services are still working at the scene to determine the exact circumstances of the incident. The road is completely blocked, causing significant traffic disruptions that may last for several hours.

Authorities are urging drivers to exercise caution and follow the instructions of personnel at the scene.

“Today around 7:20 AM we received a report of a traffic incident in Nowe Osiny. Preliminary findings indicate that two vehicles were involved – a Renault and a Ford.

The Renault driver, a 24-year-old man, traveling from Siedlec towards Mińsk Mazowiecki, lost control of the vehicle for reasons currently unknown, hit a traffic island, and then collided with a Ford driven by a 45-year-old man. The Ford driver was sober and had the required permits.

After the collision, the Renault went into a roadside ditch and overturned. The 24-year-old driver was transported to the hospital by helicopter from the Air Rescue Service.

Emergency services are still working at the scene, and there are significant traffic disruptions – the road is completely blocked. Disruptions may last for several hours.
