Accident Details
At the intersection of Aleja Niepodległości and Wawelska in Warsaw, the driver of a Skoda drove off the road and crashed into a traffic light, damaging the vehicle. The incident occurred around 9:00 PM on Friday, January 16.
A police crew and a medical rescue team responded to the scene following the collision.
Medical Response
The driver was examined by paramedics at the scene, but no hospital transport was deemed necessary. After the medical intervention, police conducted a sobriety test on the 45-year-old Polish citizen.
Alcohol Measurement
The first breathalyzer test recorded 1.95 mg/l of alcohol in the driver’s exhaled air, equivalent to almost 4.1 permille. This level significantly exceeds the legal limit for operating a vehicle.
Legal Consequences
