Three people were injured and hospitalized after a car crashed into a tree in Białobiel on Saturday afternoon.

A serious accident occurred on Saturday, February 14, in Białobiel (Lelis Commune, Ostrołęka County), on the road connecting Białobiel and Lelis. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a roadside tree.
Cause of Accident
The incident happened after 15:00 on a local road heading from Ostrołęka towards Lelis. Preliminary findings indicate the driver lost control on a curve, veered off the road, and collided with a tree.
Injuries and Rescue Response
Three individuals were injured in the crash. According to Nadkomisarz Tomasz Żerański, spokesperson for the Municipal Police Command in Ostrołęka, the 37-year-old driver and two passengers—a 44-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man—were transported to the hospital.
Emergency services responded to the scene. Firefighters worked on the vehicle, including evacuating one person from the damaged car. The injured were handed over to medical rescue teams. Police are conducting inquiries to determine the exact cause and circumstances of the accident.
Traffic Disruptions
The road was blocked in both directions in the Białobiel area. Authorities advised drivers to use alternate routes and anticipate possible delays lasting into the evening hours.
