A fatal road accident occurred in the Solec nad Wisłą municipality on March 25th, shortly after midnight. The incident took place on provincial road number 747, near the village of Raj in Lipsko County.
Details of the Crash
Preliminary findings indicate that the 28-year-old driver of a BMW failed to exercise due caution, resulting in the vehicle going through a roundabout. The driver lost control, breached safety barriers, and veered off the road into a roadside ditch.
Casualties
The driver died at the scene. Three passengers were traveling in the vehicle:
• A 22-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries were transported to a hospital.
• A 19-year-old woman with serious injuries was airlifted by the Polish Medical Air Rescue to a specialist hospital.
