Driver Reaches for Bag, Hits Curb, and Vehicle Tip‑Over – LPR Helicopter Deployed to Scene

A Toyota hit a curb at 8 a.m. in Broniszach, overturned, and caused a minor traffic disaster that prompted a swift response from firefighters, medical teams, police, and the LPR helicopter “Ratownik 12.”

Incident at Poznańska and Świerkowa Intersection

At about 8 a.m. a Toyota vehicle overturned at the intersection of Poznańska and Świerkowa streets in Broniszach (West Warsaw County). Firefighters, medical teams, the LPR helicopter “Ratownik 12,” and police were dispatched to the scene.

Cause of the Accident

Preliminary investigations show that the driver was reaching for a bag while driving, struck a curb, lost control, and veered off the road. The vehicle tipped onto its side and came to rest within the Bronze Free Trade area, on the perimeter fence.

Rescue Efforts and Injuries

Several firefighting squads, medical responders, and the helicopter crew worked on the scene. After assessment, no serious injuries were reported; however, one passenger was transported to a hospital for further examination.

Legal Consequences

Police issued a fine to the driver for causing the incident.
