Driver Streams Traffic Stop After Driving Vehicle in Unsafe Condition

Warsaw police stopped a Ford Transit driver on Siekierkowski Bridge after observing a dangerous vehicle condition and discovered he was driving without a valid license.

Police Intervention on Siekierkowski Bridge

Warsaw police responded to a situation this morning before 7:00 AM on Siekierkowski Bridge involving a Ford Transit driver operating a vehicle in an unsafe manner.

Officers determined the vehicle’s technical condition rendered it unusable, leading to the suspension of the driver’s registration and a prohibition on further operation.

Driver Non-Compliance and Live Stream

During the intervention, the driver refused to comply with police instructions, including exiting the vehicle, while simultaneously broadcasting the encounter on social media, hindering the process.

The intervention temporarily blocked one lane of traffic on the bridge.

License Suspension and Pending Charges

Investigation revealed the driver’s license had been revoked in February by the appropriate authority, meaning he was ineligible to operate a vehicle.

A referral for punishment will be submitted to the court.

Vehicle Removal and Associated Costs

Due to the vehicle’s condition and the driver’s lack of cooperation, the decision was made to remove the vehicle at the owner’s expense, requiring a tow truck.

The driver’s refusal to cooperate prevented alternative solutions, such as arranging independent transport.

Use of Force and Resolution

Due to persistent non-compliance, police employed proportionate physical force to compel the driver to exit the vehicle, allowing for its removal and the restoration of traffic flow.

Responsibility and Vehicle Maintenance

The costs associated with vehicle removal are a direct result of the driver’s violations and behavior during the intervention.

Responsible driving and proper vehicle maintenance can prevent such incidents.

The Warsaw Police Headquarters provided this information.
