32-year-old Ford driver ignored police signals, caused Audi collision, and was found to have court driving ban.
Police Chase Leads to Collision
On Tuesday (February 10, 2026), police officers from the Road Traffic Department of the Białobrzegi County Police Headquarters intervened against a Ford driver who exceeded the speed limit. Officers signaled the driver to stop, but he ignored commands and fled.
While attempting to avoid the check, he caused a collision by hitting an Audi vehicle. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Driver Had Court Driving Ban
Police identified the driver as a 32-year-old resident of Białobrzegi. A check in police systems revealed the man has a court ban on driving motor vehicles.
The driver was found to be sober at the time of the incident.
Fines and Criminal Charges
For the offenses—failure to comply with police signals, excessive speed, and creating a traffic hazard—the driver was fined 4,100 zł in total.
Criminal proceedings will be conducted for violating the court driving ban under Article 244 of the Penal Code, which carries a potential prison sentence of up to 5 years.
Police Appeal to Drivers
Police officers appeal to all drivers to comply with traffic regulations and follow commands during inspections. Ignoring stop signals, excessive speed, and driving despite imposed bans create real threats to road users’ safety.
Responsibility and caution on the road prevent tragic consequences.
