Driver with Lifetime Ban Involved in Two Collisions, Detained by Witnesses

Two collisions occurred on March 23rd in Warsaw involving the same driver, who was subsequently apprehended by bystanders after attempting to flee.

First Collision on Kondratowicza Street

On March 23rd, before 5:00 PM, a collision occurred between two Mercedes vehicles on Kondratowicza Street. The driver of the white Mercedes left the scene and attempted to escape.

Witness Pursuit and Second Collision

A witness pursued the fleeing vehicle, leading to a second collision on Głębocka Street – this time with an Audi. The driver again attempted to flee on foot but was detained by witnesses.

Driver’s History and Testing

The driver was found to be sober and had a lifetime driving ban. While initial tests showed no signs of drug use, a blood sample was taken for further analysis.

Prior Alcohol-Related Offenses

Information indicates the driver was previously arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and had been involved in prior traffic incidents while intoxicated.

No Injuries Reported

No injuries were reported in either collision. Police are continuing the investigation.
