A Russian drone was discovered on the rooftop of a house in Dominów, Lubelszczyzna, after potentially risking an electrical line and causing a stir among the neighborhood.
Unusual Airport: Drone Found in House
Near dawn on Monday morning, when the house owner returned to his residency, he found a strange object on his rooftop – a Russian drone. Though initially appearing undamaged, closer inspection revealed provisional repairs with masking tape securing portions of the construction.
Security Measures Taken
Immediately, the discoverer reported the incident to the authorities. Police, firefighters, medical rescue teams, and military police arrived at the scene, establishing a safety zone of several hundred meters before calling for an investigation. Traffic was later rerouted in the area.
Neighborhood Concerns
Nights before the discovery, local residents had reported unusual engine noises, resembling a combustion engine. In Dominów, there were also sudden awakenings of farm animals, though no vehicle could be found by the police at the time.
