Drone Found in Eastern Poland Identified as Russian-Made

A drone that fell in Lublin region was initially thought to have been part of a smuggling operation, but Polish military investigators now believe it may have had a military origin.

Procurator Discloses New Information

On Sunday, procurator Rafał Kawalec provided new information about the drone that fell in Majdan-Sielec, Lublin province. He expressed surprise at reports from military police about the drone’s smuggling origins, saying it was “becoming less likely” and that the possibility of military origin is “growing more probable.”

Markings in Russian on Drone Body

“We cannot yet directly confirm or exclude the origin of the drone,” Kawalec said. “However, an analysis at the scene showed inscriptions in Russian on the drone’s body.”

Farmer Concerned About Russian Drone

The drone was discovered by a farmer who found it in his field. He expressed concern about the potential Russian origin of the drone.
