Drone Discovery Initiates Police Action

On Friday, April 3rd, after 11:00 AM, the duty officer at the Strzelce Opolskie County Police Headquarters received a report from a man who found a drone while walking in the forest.

The report was confirmed by a dispatched patrol.

Area Secured, Access Restricted

The area has been secured, and access to the site is restricted, with a ban on entry for unauthorized individuals.

Multi-Agency Response Deployed

Police officers from Strzelce Opolskie and the Opole Voivodeship Police Headquarters, along with the Anti-Terrorist Unit from Katowice, are involved in the operation. Firefighters from Strzelce Opolskie and Kędzierzyn-Koźle are also present.

Investigation Underway

Services are conducting procedures to determine the origin and owner of the unmanned aerial vehicle.
