Deputy Minister Confirms Drone Fragments Found

On Sunday, December 14, police in the Radzyń Podlaski county informed authorities that a man walking in Żelizna noticed parts resembling a drone. The evidence was secured and police notified the Military Gendarmerie of Białowieza Podlaska and the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Radzyń Podlaski.

Deputy Minister Czesław Mroczek, speaking on the RMF FM radio station on Monday, confirmed that the fragments were from an unmanned aerial vehicle, most likely a decoy drone such as those seen during the September 9‑10 incursion. He said investigations are ongoing.

Mroczek added that a prosecutor’s team is working on the matter and does not expect many more drone fragments to surface in the future.
