Drug Transaction Broken by Capital Police

Capital police officers have thwarted a large-scale drug trafficking operation, seizing over 22 kilograms of narcotics and psychoactive substances. Two men, linked to a pseudofanatic criminal network, were arrested on the spot and charged with smuggling and possessing significant amounts of illegal drugs.

Operation Conducted by Capital Police and Radom

Two men were arrested by officers of the Warsaw Department for Combating Pseudofanatic Crime in collaboration with police from Radom. The transaction involved packages of marijuana. During searches of their residences, officers discovered additional narcotics and psychoactive substances, including over 14 kilograms of various drugs such as marijuana, cocaine, heroin, amphetamine, and klefedron, as well as a liter of liquid substance. The suspects are accused of smuggling and possessing large quantities of narcotics.

Surveillance of a Pre-Identified Location

Police from the Warsaw Department for Combating Pseudofanatic Crime, with support from colleagues at the Radom-based Regional Police Headquarters, monitored a location previously identified by their team. In the designated timeframe, officers initiated the operation and arrested a 43-year-old and a 48-year-old on the spot.

Drugs Seized During Searches of the Suspects’ Vehicles and Homes

The older suspect handed a bag to the younger man, which contained nearly 8 kilograms of marijuana. Following searches of their vehicles and dwellings in Marek and Radom, officers recovered an additional 14 kilograms of psychoactive substances. They also secured various items used for weighing and packaging the drugs.

Suspects Taken into Custody, Evidence Sent to Prosecutor

The arrested men were taken to the Warsaw Police Detention Center, while the collected evidence was transferred to the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Włocławek. There, the men heard charges related to smuggling and possession of significant amounts of narcotics and psychoactive substances.

Prosecutor Files for Preventive Detention

The Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Włocławek submitted requests to the court for preventive detention in the form of temporary arrest for both suspects.

Court Approves Temporary Detention Order

The Regional Court in Włocławek approved the requests, imposing temporary arrests on the 43-year-old and 48-year-old for three months.
