Drunk driver collides with barriers and pedestrian signals, has over 2‰ alcohol

A drunk woman driving a Skoda crashed into the barriers separating the road from a tram stop and hit pedestrian signals on the night of 29/30 November near 1 a.m. on Górczewska Street.

Accident details

During the night of November 29/30 around 1 a.m., a Skoda driven by a woman struck barriers that shield the road from the tram stop and then collided with pedestrian traffic lights on Górczewska Street.

The incident took place near the intersection with Klemensiewicza Street, approximately at number 229.

Police response

Police patrols arrived on the scene, secured the area and conducted actions involving the driver.

The woman was taken into custody following a sobriety test.

Alcohol level

Tests revealed the driver had more than 2 ‰ alcohol in her breath, which likely caused loss of vehicle control.

She will face further legal proceedings related to driving under influence and causing a traffic incident.
