A 49-year-old man crashed into a chapel fence in Zaórz, Poland, on Sunday evening while driving under the influence and without a license.

A 49-year-old driver was fortunate to avoid serious injury after a crash in Zaórz (Goworowo commune) on Sunday, March 22nd, around 9:00 PM. The driver crashed into a chapel fence, rolled the vehicle, and then left the scene.
Loss of Control and Crash
Initial findings indicate the driver of a Nissan lost control of the vehicle, colliding with the chapel fence before overturning. The driver subsequently abandoned the vehicle.
Apprehension and Intoxication Level
Police quickly located the man, a resident of Ostrołęka county, near the crash site. He exhibited signs of intoxication, including slurred speech and difficulty maintaining balance. Despite the vehicle’s damage, he sustained no serious injuries.
Legal Consequences
A breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol content of nearly 3 promille. Further investigation revealed the driver was unlicensed. He was arrested and detained, with blood samples taken for further analysis.
Charges and Admission of Guilt
Thanks to the work of police and the prosecutor, the 49-year-old has been charged with driving under the influence and driving without a valid license, to which he has confessed.
