A marked Skoda passenger vehicle collided with a tree, resulting in injuries to a passenger who was transported to a hospital by emergency medical services.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 14th, around 4:30 PM at the intersection of Aleja Powstańców Warszawy and Żeglugi Powietrznej Street in Reguły, Pruszków County.
Driver Found to be Heavily Intoxicated
Police determined the driver had a blood alcohol content exceeding 1.5 promille, which is believed to be the primary cause of the loss of vehicle control.
Vehicle Marked for Passenger Transport
The Skoda was identified as a vehicle used for passenger transport; however, it appears the driver was not on a scheduled route at the time of the accident and was using the vehicle privately.
