Initial findings indicate that the 27-year-old Polish citizen, operating the garbage truck, intended to turn left onto Sokołowska Street. He failed to yield to the tram, resulting in the collision.

Driver’s Condition and Arrest

Police arrived at the scene and conducted a sobriety test on the driver. The test revealed a blood alcohol content exceeding three per mille.

The driver was arrested and further legal proceedings will be conducted after he has sobered up.
