A drunken prosecutor from the District Prosecutor’s Office in Kolo collided with another vehicle on K‑92 in Grzegorzew, Poland, on December 11, and was detained by police.
Incident Details
According to reports by RMF FM, the collision occurred on Thursday 11 December at about 17:00 on a section of road K‑92 in Grzegorzew (Kolski County, Greater Poland Voivodeship). A worker was directing traffic and signalled arriving vehicles to stop. One vehicle then struck the rear of another. The intoxicated prosecutor from the District Prosecutor’s Office in Kolo was at the wheel.

The investigators refused a breath‑alcohol test and instead took the prosecutor’s blood for analysis. He was transported to a police detention centre where he spent the night, after consent was obtained from his superior. The circumstances remain under investigation, and documents are being prepared to seek removal of the prosecutor’s immunity.
