Drunk Ukrainian Driver Crashes into River After Collision

A 19-year-old Ukrainian citizen caused a collision in Piaseczno, Poland, then fled and crashed his car into the Czarna River on Saturday evening.

Initial Incident and Attempted Escape

On Saturday around 8 PM, an incident occurred in Piaseczno involving a drunk driver. The 19-year-old Ukrainian citizen, driving an Audi, initially caused a collision within the city.

He then attempted to flee the scene.

Crash on Świętojańska Street

The driver’s escape ended on Świętojańska Street, where he collided with an iron barrier, guardrails, and a tree. The car then left the embankment and overturned into the Czarna River.

Emergency Response and No Injuries

Emergency services, including firefighters, paramedics, and police, were dispatched to the location. Fortunately, despite the dangerous nature of the incident, no one was injured.

Arrest and Alcohol Level

Police detained the 19-year-old. A breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol content of 1.43 per mille. Police are continuing their investigation into the matter.
