Near Żeromskiego Street in the West Pomeranian city of Dziwnów, a dangerous event unfolded when an electric vehicle collided with the water.

Car Capsizes During Scooter Towing

The electric BMW, positioned on a ramp, tipped into the harbor while a scooter was being towed. The vehicle was empty, and no one on the marina was in immediate danger.

Rescue Operation: Divers, Firefighters, Crane

A team of divers and firefighters arrived, employing a crane to lift the car from the water. The action, lasting several hours, involved units from JRG Kamień Pomorski, OSP Dziwnów, OSP Międzywodzie, and a specialized diving group.

The Dziwnów Municipal Office rented a crane for the extraction.

Official Statement on Vehicle’s Security

Junior Captain Piotr Paradowski of KPPSP Kamień Pomorski explained that the car had been inadequately secured, leading to its tipping.
