Frontex Prepares for Sudden Migration Pressure
Creating the Quick Reaction Force allows Frontex to apply more flexible counter-threat methods, particularly addressing challenges like sudden migration pressure risks. Approximately 2,000 Frontex officers currently work on EU’s external borders, with the standing corps projected to reach 10,000 by 2027.
