Polish Radio reported that the EU is preparing to move its military training mission to Ukraine. The move is intended as part of a security guarantee to Kyiv pending cessation of hostilities. Training currently takes place within EU territory for security reasons. Since the mission began in autumn 2022, about 80,000 soldiers have been trained across 11 EU countries, many in Poland, which hosts one of the mission’s headquarters.
