Ventusky released a forecast for Europe indicating that the week of 10‑16 November will see temperatures that are about 10 °C higher than the long‑term average. The service said that some temperature records could be broken, though a slight dip below average is possible in Scandinavia late in the week.
Poland’s Warm Front
The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management confirmed that a heat wave will reach Poland. On Tuesday 11 November the southwest region is expected to hit 12 °C, with temperatures climbing up to 15 °C in the coming days. However, IMGW forecasts a cooling trend over the weekend of 15‑16 November, with possible sub‑zero lows in some areas.
Temperature Outlook for Monday, 10 November
IMGW predicts heavy cloud cover across most Polish regions, with brief clearer spells only in the mid‑afternoon in the northeast. Light rain or drizzle may occur, and high‑altitude mountainous zones could see rain mixing with snow. Maximum temperatures are expected between 7 °C and 10 °C, falling to about 5 °C in the foothills.
