Political commentator and former PiS member Marek Migalski sparked outrage on social media after posting about the death of pilot Maciej “Slab” Krakowian, who died in a plane crash on August 28th during rehearsal for the Radom Air Show. Migalski’s posts called Krakowian a “useless man who died on a show, not in a fight, and a criminal who endangered people and crashed a very expensive plane.”

Migalski Apologizes for His Remarks

Migalski defended his comments initially but later clarified his stance, stating that he would apologize if evidence shows external factors led to the crash beyond the pilot’s control. He further commented that if the incident was indeed due to the pilot’s brawery or inability, those who have condemned him “should apologize.”

Fundraising Efforts for Pilot’s Children

Following the tragic accident, friends and family of the deceased pilot initiated a fundraising campaign for his two young sons, four-year-old twin brothers Olka and Mikołajek. Within a short period, generous donors contributed more than 1,200,000 Polish złotys to support the children.
