Police in Mława apprehended a 44-year-old woman suspected of fraud and perfume theft following immediate reports.
Two Separate Fraud Incidents
In the last two days in Mława, two different stores were defrauded by the same woman. She requested transfers of 500 and 1000 złoty from store employees but left without paying.
Police Response and Apprehension
Yesterday (January 20), a store employee suspected fraud, followed the woman, and called the police. District officers Paweł Granoszewski and Aleksandra Bardońska quickly arrived and apprehended the woman.
Additional Theft Charges
During the investigation, police discovered the woman had also stolen perfume from one of the Mława stores earlier.
Potential Consequences
The 44-year-old woman from Działdowski district will face charges for both theft and fraud, offenses that carry a potential sentence of up to 8 years in prison.
