According to preliminary findings, the victim was assaulted in one of the houses by his 13‑year‑old brother, who allegedly took a knife during the night and attacked the sleeping teenager, causing laceration and puncture wounds, TVP Info reported.

Teen dies in hospital; younger brother arrested

The police and medical responders transported the severely injured teenager to the hospital, where he died a few hours later, spokesperson Inspector Andrzej Fijołek told Radio ZET.

Police statement and court proceedings

The 13‑year‑old was detained by police and the material will be sent to the juvenile court. Officers did not reveal further details due to the sensitive nature of the case and the age of the arrested person.
