Farage Accused of Promoting Neo-Nazis and Far-Right Slogans in Thousands of Recordings

An investigation revealed Nigel Farage accepted payments to create videos used by far-right and neo-Nazi groups, including a Canadian organization labeled extremist by the U.S. State Department.

Farage’s Paid Recordings for Extremist Groups

A British newspaper analyzed 4,366 videos revealing Nigel Farage received commissions from far-right organizations across various countries, who subsequently used the recordings in their media activities.

In 2024, Farage recorded a message for members of Diagolon, a Canadian neo-Nazi organization, for 141 pounds. The U.S. State Department had designated Diagolon members as extremists two years prior.

“Road Rage Terror Tour” Endorsement

Diagolon leaders requested Farage endorse their “Road Rage Terror Tour” event, which he agreed to do. In the recording, Farage stated, “Never say never, maybe you’ll come out of the event and say ‘Road Rage Terror Tour is the best thing that’s ever happened.’”

Use of Anti-Immigrant Slogans

Farage referenced an anti-immigrant slogan in his recordings. “The Guardian” reported that the Reform UK party leader used the phrase “If in doubt, kick them out” approximately 20 times.

Misinogynistic Comments

Farage also made misogynistic remarks in some videos. He suggested an individual secretly harbored feelings for British politician Diane Abbott, and he mocked the appearance of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, ridiculing someone he claimed was “ogling” her breasts.

Ukraine and Arab States Perspective

Serhiy Danylov, deputy director of the Ukrainian Center for Middle Eastern Studies, stated, “Arabs have not previously seen Ukraine as a player that could bring something. Now we are seeing a change.”

Farage’s Spokespeople Respond

Farage’s spokespeople stated he recorded “thousands of films for genuine supporters to celebrate weddings, send congratulations to friends, or send them funny messages.” They acknowledged that “sporadic mistakes” could occur at such a scale.

They also emphasized that Farage “has long openly opposed extremism and political violence,” and his Cameo recordings “should not be treated as political statements or campaign actions.”

Farage’s Role in Brexit

Nigel Farage was a key figure in the campaign for the United Kingdom to leave the European Union, contributing to Brexit. He currently leads a Eurosceptic faction in the European Parliament.
